This policy describes what this website collects, why, and what we do with it. It covers the website only — information handled inside a customer engagement is governed by that engagement's agreement.
Who we are
RPR Technologies LLC ("RPR", "we", "us") is a software engineering and systems integration company based in Placerville, California, United States. We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy.

What this website collects
Information you send us
When you use the contact form or email us, we receive what you choose to provide. The form asks for:
- Name and work email address — required, so we can reply
- Company and phone number — optional
- Your message — whatever you tell us about what you are trying to solve
We also record which page or button the message came from, so we know what you were reading when you got in touch. Please do not send confidential or sensitive information through the contact form; it is ordinary email on the other end.
Information collected automatically
Our web server keeps standard request logs, which include your IP address, the page requested, the time of the request, and your browser's user-agent string. These are used to operate the site, diagnose faults and detect abuse.
Storage in your browser
If you change the light or dark theme, we store that preference in your browser's local
storage under the key rpr-theme. It stays on your device, is not transmitted
to us, and contains nothing but the word "light" or "dark". Clearing your site data
removes it.
How we use it
- To read and reply to your message, and to continue that conversation
- To send you an acknowledgement confirming we received your message
- To operate, secure and troubleshoot the website
- To keep records of business correspondence, as any company does
We do not sell personal information, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not use it to build profiles or to train machine learning models.
Who else sees it
We keep the number of parties involved deliberately small. Information may be handled by:
- Our email provider, which transmits and stores the messages sent to and from us
- Our hosting provider, which runs the server this website is served from
- Professional advisers or authorities, where we are legally required to disclose something
These providers act on our behalf and are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes. We do not transfer your information to anyone else without telling you.
How long we keep it
Contact messages are retained as business correspondence for as long as the enquiry or relationship is relevant, and then for a reasonable period afterwards for record-keeping. Server logs are retained for a short period for operational and security purposes. If you would like your enquiry deleted sooner, ask us and we will do it.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over the personal information we hold about you — commonly including the right to ask what we have, to ask for a copy, to ask us to correct it, and to ask us to delete it. You may also ask us to stop contacting you at any time.
To make any of these requests, email privacy@rprtechllc.com. We will respond to every request we receive, and we will not treat you differently for making one. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request about specific records.
Security
The website is served over HTTPS. Contact submissions are rate limited and filtered for automated abuse. Access to the mailbox that receives enquiries is restricted to people at RPR who need it.
No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we will not claim otherwise. If you believe you have found a security issue with this website, please report it to security@rprtechllc.com.
Children
This website is intended for business use. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Customer engagements
This policy covers this website. Information we handle while delivering services to a customer — including anything inside a customer's systems or a dedicated deployment we operate — is governed by the agreement covering that engagement, not by this page.
Changes to this policy
If we change how this website handles information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be described rather than made quietly.
